Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for project quantities measurement, auditing and cost estimation in the construction project.
  • Prepare project tendering plan and carry out relevant work in the tendering process accordingly.
  • Prepare tender documents in each bidding stage, including tender addendum, preparation of contract, and bid scoring sheet.
  • Assist PM to carry out investigation on bidder, qualifications, tender Q&A, bid opening and bidding clarification & confirmation.
  • Be responsible for assigned project bidding analysis, contract negotiation and signing.
  • Prepare letter of award and the contract upon confirmation of the bidder.
  • Assist Project Manager to prepare project claim and payment certificate based on progress of works done.
  • Work closely with site team to put up request for variation order for approval by Client prior to its execution.
  • Finalize all variation order that has been raised on the contract.
  • Collect material & equipment price and monthly update database.
  • Assist Project Manager to prepare final account.
  • Take care of all the payments and other certificates starting from the certified completion date right up to the end of the defect liability period.
  • Carry out task assigned by superior.

 

Requirement:

  • Civil / Construction Economy / M&E Engineering bachelor degree or above.
  • At least 5 years experiences. 3 years working experiences in foreign owned engineering / project management company is preferred.
  • Be familiar with the knowledge of Project Management, Contract Management, budget &Costing, Tender Management and documentation.
  • Certificate of Registered Estimate Engineer is preferred.
  • Strong ability on language and writing is preferred.
  • Familiar at Auto CAD,Project,MS office.
  • Good English/Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
  • Honest, high sense of responsibility, well organized with teamwork spirit and sense of confidentiality.
